A great man departs...

To all who knew Yaseen (Suniet) Sethi, he was a kind, gentle and loving person. His warm trademark smile would always put a sparkle in everybody's day. He was caring, giving, and above all a great human being.

The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. ~ Mark Twain

Unfortunately his years of 'emotional torture' and a ruthless homicide led to his ultimate fatality. It is a big shock to his friends and well-wishers - and hence this blog. It is a 'lighted diya' to make sure he is always remembered and cherished as the great man that he was.

Your comments and kind words are encouraged here. Please share your thoughts, your stories and moments so that this diya's flame and warmth never dies.

Namaz-e-Janaza

His Namaz-e-Jazana was held on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 around 5:30PM at:

ISGH Funeral
11815 Adel Rd.
Houston, TX 77067
713-822-7003

Friends and well-wishers came to mourn his death and express condolences. Unfortunately, since his in-laws informed the death late (the death was confirmed 2 days back on October 28), it wasn't until about 3:45PM when friends were informed about his namaz-e-janaza at 5PM. Luckily some well-wishers still showed up but others were not so lucky. Our prayers are with him and may Allah show him mercy and give strength to his mother.
